About Me
I love that an idea can become real, that a problem can be solved and that something broken can be fixed. For over 50 years that passion, in a supportive community of artists and clients, has allowed me to live a purposeful life. I have studied and gathered with numerous masters – some recognized, but most just good folk. If you need something for a gift, to be constructed, something repaired or to be designed and bid on – contact me for a free consult. Maybe we will find a project that my tooling, technical skill and experience cannot efficiently create in my low overhead shop just outside of Olympia, Wa … but I doubt it. 🙂

Good Design is Artful
A professional creative does need an outlet for what they produce, or their atelier will be choked full with their work. So their work must provide value for a potential buyer. Sometimes that’s an artificially created resale value due to providence or rarity. Sometimes a product can simply enrich someone because of beauty of nostalgia.
I strive to make comfortable, utilitarian objects which fit almost invisibly into an environment by supporting the functional needs and fitting into the environment tastefully.
