Since 1975, discerning designers, home owners and fellow artists have turned to Knobel Woodworks for custom furniture, cabinets and millwork not available any where else.
In a comfy shop, nestled among old growth trees and with access to the forest trails on the Evergreen State College campus, David (Dusty) Knobel, along with his son undertake repairs, create heirloom furniture, distinctive cabinetry, and provide fabrication services to other area artists. They make what stores don't sell.
Dusty has trained with internationally known makers like John Makepeace, Allen Peters, and James Krenov. Several national publications have featured his work including Fine Wood Working magazine and the Taunton Press Design Book Series, and he has shown pieces in Seattle at the Gallery of Fine Working and at the Washington State Museum.
Over thirty years of experience & traditional furniture maker's techniques are coupled with modern Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) and modern computer driven milling equipment to allow the construction of the most amazing projects. Contact Dusty today to discuss your project.
